William “Bill” Conboy, is part of the PC Public Affairs video production and advocacy team. A retired New York State Trooper who understands the art of communication, Bill brings a unique set of skills to the PC Public Affairs.
After leaving his road patrol assignment with the New York State Police, Bill spent the better part of his law enforcement career as a member of Governor George E. Pataki’s protective service unit and as a Technical Sergeant in charge of the Field Training Evaluation Program at the New York State Police Academy where he taught state police cadets various field communications and operational techniques and tactics. Bill performed a complete overhaul of the field training curriculum, coordinating with the state police forensic video and multimedia team to develop professional training videos to be used to train new field training officers.
Bill’s two decades of law enforcement experience is a perfect primer for his entre into the world of communications, advocacy and media production, where he is able to bring a unique perspective and approach to our client’s communications and media projects.
Bill holds a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from SUNY Plattsburgh. He, his wife Saga and three children call East Greenbush home. In his spare time Bill likes to remain physically active pursuing a number of outdoor sports as well as playing recreational hockey.
